This is a picture of graffiti in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The chair was already there when I took the picture but I find it adds an element of randomness.

DUMBO

Today, I went to DUMBO with my photography class. We were free to take pictures of whatever we wanted. I took a lot of pictures of the bridge but this is my favorite. I made it on black and white for it to look more like an old photography of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Red

These two pictures were taken at Washington Square Park a few days ago. In both pictures, the color red plays a big role. Red is a very bright noticeable color and makes these pictures more lively. Girl On a Swing-inspired by William Eggleston

I find that it is the pink dress of the girl that makes this picture special. If the dress had been gray for example, the girl on the swing would not attract the viewers attention. The bright pink against a green background makes the girl stand out. This photograph was inspired by William Eggleston, a photographer that gave a great importance to color. I've tried to do the same.
